As harvesting work was still going on and some of our Catholic were still in the field, we finally decided to celebrate the Palm Sunday in the field. It was an opportunity for us to thank God for this year harvest. Corns leaves and cassava sticks were still scattered around. It gave a resonance with the mystery we celebrated. Jesus was welcomed as king by his followers, mostly paysans or farmers. People laid leaves and even their clothes on roads He was about to pass towards Jerusalem. They used whatever they hold whatever they found to welcome their king. Palm Sunday leaves the message of life. People who decide to follow Jesus are people whose life is fully alive; people who live as what they are and give what they have for His cause.
