Since 2020, in partnership with NCCM of Thailand and COEER, we have set up a poultry project for migrant worker families in the town of Umphang and around. As most of them have little access to the public livelihood service, we help them to have a sufficient livelihood sustainability. Between 5-10 families are grouped to take care around 100 Rhode Island breeding chickens. They help each other to feed the chickens and to take care of them. Some eggs are sold and others are shared between them for household needs.
